ABC Radio National hit by streaming outage, national broadcaster apologises
The national broadcaster has been hit by nationwide outages to its online radio services, with listeners of its flagship breakfast program hit with dead air for more than an hour.
The ABC confirmed it was first made aware of the issue about 8am AEDT.
The services were shortly restored after 9.30am.
An ABC spokesperson confirmed the broadcasting issue and apologised to listeners.
“The ABC is aware of an issue which began after 8am AEDT this morning and is impacting Radio National and other audio services on broadcast and streaming services, including ABC listen,” they said.
“The ABC apologises for any inconvenience caused and we are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”
