Oh Justin, how thy make my blood boil.

He’s been “busting a gut with rehab” and is even toying with going cold turkey but I don’t believe that for a second. He’s obviously got a secret stash of drugs he’s hiding from Leah.

Since Justin fired Ziggy she’s been calling every garage to find work but to no avail. So she musters up the courage to “clear the air” with Justin and ask for her job back.

It really doesn’t go well.

Justin once again reminds us

“Doesn’t matter what Leah said I don’t need you,” Justin says.

“You made it sound like I’ve never supported you but I’ve always had your back,” Ziggy replies.

It’s all true true apart from when she hired Tane and he used the place to store a van brimming with drugs. I don’t remember the specific drugs in said van but I bet Justin would do anything to get his filthy mitts on them now.

Justin makes up complete and utter lies about Ziggy’s poor performance that lead to her being sacked and drops a bunch of scary things like customers complaining about her, underquoting and fitting the wrong parts.

If it were true it would only be a reflection on Justin’s own skills since she’s been working with Justin the entire time.

“I can’t afford to have you on the books,” Justin says.

Meanwhile, Justin is buying a lot of drugs on the internet and having them delivered to the garage so I’m hoping it’s just a matter of moment until he overdoses and we can get some much needed respite from his constant groaning and pained face.

Over at the diner Steven – a newcomer from the internet – John and Leah receive a text from Susie.

Won’t swallow his pride, so he’ll face it.

“I’ve got to see her face to face,” John says.

“Let’s see if Susie takes the bait,” Leah replies.

We all know that Susie is smarter than all three of them joined together but they continue with their plan to lure Susie to a meeting spot to talk to John while the other two hide in some bushes or something.

“Our investigation into Susie is looking up,” Leah says.

It’s also just a matter of moments before Leah and John are conned again because this Steven is just too suspicious. He’s probably hand-picked their PI.

Over on team Nikau, he’s busy perpetuating all the worst bits of the influencer industry – obsessing over his body without knowing the first thing about getting fitter, stronger and eating well.

But of course Sienna, his agent, got into his head about being too skinny and he wants to look like his uncle Tane.

Tane must have pumped some iron seconds before shooting the scene because his veins are literally popping out of his arms. To this day it still amazes me how arms could be so large. Was he a champion arm wrestler in a former life?

Anyway, Nik refuses Tane’s help in the fitness department and sets up a home gym in his room.
