Leah uncovers a crucial detail about Stephen Something’s true identity and with it my hopes of her breaking up with Justin are crushed.

Stephen Something may need to be renamed Sly Stephen for his oh so slick moves pulling Leah into his web of lies and only then, in the closing minutes of tonight’s episode, do we finally get confirmation that Stephen isn’t who he says he is and Leah has been conned again.

It all starts in the usual Summer Bay manner, a deep and meaningful stroll along the beach.

Leah lets on that she’s second guessing everything she knows about Justin while Stephen disguises his delight as concern.

But things get heated between the pair and Leah shuts down any speculation about Justin’s possible murdering antics.

"I really don’t want to hear it," Leah says in a talk to the hand moment.

I’ll be in the hotel if you change your mind," Stephen says.

Right…so if Leah decides her boyfriend is a murderer, only then will Stephen speak to her?

Strangely is works. Next thing Leah is fairly certain Justin murdered Susie and might just turn him in to the cops.

It really speaks volumes about how poorly Leah regarded his character in the first place.

She goes to Stephen's hotel room.

"I think you’re right about Justin,” Leah says as she paces around Stephen Something’s hotel room.

“I feel sick.”

While this has been going on Justin, who were told Justin will "stick out the rest of his detox under supervision", suddenly turns up at home but Leah makes an excuse not to see him quite yet.

Now I don’t know the location of the hotel but one minute Leah and Stephen are in the hotel and next thing they are outside the bait shop purely to play into Justin’s paranoia, before returning to the hotel.

"She’s moved on" Justin proclaims upon seeing Leah and Stephen together.

“You promised me there was nothing going on between you two."

Justin tries to start a fight but Tori pulls him away and takes him home where he continues his tantrum until the cops show up and take him to the station.

The evidence board is literally in the foyer where anyone could stumble upon the top secret facts.

Back at the hotel room Stephen leaves for a few moments to get some dinner when Leah discovers a phone, wads of cash and Susie’s laptop under the bed. She knows Justin is innocent now.

Leah better get out of there quick, or who knows, she could be murdered next. But she misses her chance and Stephen returns with two sandwiches which is a pretty disappointing dinner.

Over on team Parata, Nikau comes clean to Bella about his affair with Sienna.

It doesn’t come as a shock that Bella is completely distraught.

Nik’s behaviour is truly deplorable but it’s disappointing that the producers miss an opportunity to talk about the abuse of power in workplaces between employees and their superiors aka Sienna and Nik.

The entire episode leads up to Nikau delivering his crushing blow.

“There’s something…,” he struggles to say to Bella.

“I just…

“I wasn’t sure how to tell you or how you’d react…”

Um… wasn’t sure how his girlfriend would react to being cheated on with a woman they both hate?

Bella’s phone rings and Nik is saved by the bell, literally.

He decides he doesn’t want to destroy her future today, because Bella did such a good job finding a location for the shoot with "bit more edge".

It’s the obvious derelict alleyway with graffiti walls and stagnant pools of water. But I can’t really bag her out too much. We do it too.

"I’m going to tell Bella the truth tomorrow,” Nik muses.

Now it is tomorrow.

Naturally Nik takes Bella to the beach.

“I slept with Sienna,” Nik eventually says.

Bella literally legs it away from Nikau to weep in her room.
