Stephen with a “ph” is still suss.

Leah and Stephen, the stranger from the internet, are getting ready for what has become a daily meeting on the movements of Susie.

He’s been in Summer Bay for just a few weeks but already he’s inviting himself to Leah’s home probably laying Susie-related traps like the one John just fell into.

The poor nosey man took the bait and believes that Susie is reaching out to him to reconcile.

“How has he fallen into a trap again?” Leah asks.

Oh the irony.

Just moments later Justin, who is on his best behaviour following his rage-fuelled outburst last night, does a number on Leah, playing on her gullible nature.

Leah is hesitant to leave Justin the junkie alone to attend the Susie meeting for fear Justin will find a stash of drugs.

But Justin sees this as an opportunity away from Leah policing his every move (which he needs) to go to the “gym”, which is all part of a ruse to order more drugs from some dodgy place on the internet.

As soon as he’s out of sight its no surprises that Justin dose a runner and finds a reclusive area in the bushes so he looks super suss, clearly unaware that the beauty of a phone is that you can use it anywhere.

Jas catches his “clammy” person and and reigns him back into the gym.

While this is going on the Susie town meeting is taking place which is also suss.

“I don’t’ see what she has to gain by hurting me again,” John says.

When John, Leah and Stephen from the internet started investigating Susie, they were adamant about doing it themselves due to the police department’s ineptness. But now the tune has changed and they convince John to hand over everything to the police.

Honestly, I’ve lost interest until something juicy happens.

Over to Dean’s search for Mac.

He asks everyone around town if they’ve seen her, they haven’t.

Naturally I assumed that he made some attempt to contact his sister via this high-tech thing we call a phone, but alas I assumed wrong and only right at the end of the episode does he ring and discovers her phone is on the couch at his house.

In other news Martha comes home from therapy.

I’m no psychologist but the producers haven’t opted for Jas cam so she’s cured!

If you’re not familiar with Jas cam, good for you. It’s when the producers like to whip out the fish eye camera every so often to stress the gravity of a character’s insanity.

But the happy reunion is looks like it’s short lived.

Roo gets a very disturbing call, according to the look on her face, which we later find out is lawyers for Kieran, Martha’s long-lost alcoholic son, who wants to speak to Roo.
