The Volkswagen T-Roc is more expensive for 2025, though in base trim it has gained some crucial safety technology.

The CityLife, now $2000 more expensive than before at $38,990 before on-road costs, gains standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

It also features the Proactive Occupant Protection System, which tightens the front seatbelts and makes other preparations in the event of an imminent collision.

These features were previously exclusive to more expensive T-Rocs.

The R-Line is $1200 pricier than before but gains a new leather-wrapped steering wheel with physical switchgear, while all T-Rocs now come with five years’ access to the GoConnect smartphone app that allows you to remotely view vehicle information.

Like the 2025 Polo, the 2025 T-Roc range has lost the option of a Beats sound system. This was previously standard on the R.

Otherwise, Volkswagen Australia has confirmed there are no other specification changes.

Volkswagen says it still has stock of the model year 2024 (MY24) T-Roc, including the CityLife which is available for $37,990 drive-away until March 31, 2025.
