Dudley Park bashing: 27-year-old man accused of breaking into a Mandurah home to face Perth Magistrates Court

A 27-year-old man accused of breaking into a Mandurah home and bashing its elderly resident will appear in court on Sunday morning. Mandurah Detectives charged the 27-year-old man with 10 offences following an alleged crime spree in Dudley Park on Saturday, March 15. The man is accused of bashing a 75-year-old man in his sleep at his Leslie Street home in Dudley Park about 2am. He ran away with a car and house key, leaving the elderly victim with a cut and bruising to his head. The 27-year-old Warnbro man will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday charged with trespass, four counts of stealing, committing a home burglary, aggravated home burglary, aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm, threats to kill and aggravated robbery.
