Detectives hunt man who stole two cars with children inside in Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie detectives are hunting a man who stole two cars with young children inside in broad daylight.
Police say the man stole a white Kia Sorento station sedan with two infants inside on Great Eastern Highway in West Kalgoorlie about 3.50pm on Wednesday.
The children were found safe and well a short while later.

About 15 minutes after this, the man stole an orange Kia Sportage from Great Eastern Highway near Gatacre Drive in Somerville.
A child was also inside this car and was found safe and well.
Shocking footage shows a shirtless man running towards the Sportage, which had its driver’s door open, while being chased down by a group of bystanders.
A woman can be seen desperately attempting to pull the man out of the car before it accelerates, dragging her with it.
The man is on the run and is described as having a dark complexion, about 160cm tall and of a slim build.
He was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black hoodie and was carrying a white clutch bag.
