Six golf buggies caught fire at a golf course in Perth’s northern suburbs in the early hours of Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to Joondalup Resort Golf Course, Connolly, about 12.40am following reports of smoke coming from the resort’s building.

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said firefighters made entry and contained the blaze to the golf buggy storage area by about 1.50am.

Six of the course’s 30 golf buggies are understood to have been impacted by the blaze.

Fire investigation officers are currently on scene.

The cause of the blaze is still unknown.
