A West Australian player has become a millionaire after winning Saturday Lotto’s division one prize pool.

The lucky punter was one of three winners nationwide who have scored an insane prize of $1,695,309.35 each.

A further 19 West Aussies won in division two, taking home more than $7000 each.

The winning numbers for draw #4555 are 3, 27, 30, 15, 16, 13, and the supplementary numbers are 19 and 33.

The local victories come after a massive win in Wednesday night’s Millionaire Medley draw with one WA player pocketing an enviable $1 million prize.

As the winners come forward to claim their prizes, they will hopefully have a less stressful time than an elderly Mandurah couple who travelled to Perth only to be told their ticket was ‘not a winner’.

In early March, the pair expected to claim almost $1m in Saturday Lotto prize but experienced a heart-stopping moment upon giving up the “wrong ticket” to Lotterywest staff.

Handing over what they believed was their division one-winning ticket purchased from Mandurah Greenfields Newsagency, the couple’s hearts collectively sank when the machine advised their ticket was ‘not a winner’.

“When we saw that message, it sent chills down our spine,” the woman in her 70s told Lotterywest HQ staff.

Thankfully, she needed only stick her hand back in her pocket to fish out the winner.
