Jennifer Ann Bradburn: Dwellingup Sawmill office manager had clients pay thousands into own bank account

A woman who stole more than $2000 while working as an office manager at Dwellingup Sawmill shook and sobbed after she was denied a spent conviction at Mandurah Magistrates Court. Jennifer Ann Bradburn appeared in court on November 26 to be sentenced for two counts of stealing as a servant. On December 4 and 7, 2022, Bradburn gave Dwellingup Sawmill’s clients her personal bank account details instead of that of the business for transfers of $600 and $1500. Bradburn represented herself in court and begged Magistrate Leanne Atkins for a spent conviction so she could go back to her previous career of business administration. “This will never happen again, I’m 55 and I’ve never done this before,” she said. Ms Atkins placed Bradburn on a community based order for one year but refused a spent conviction. “These are not trivial offences,” she said. “People like you choose to breach the trust of their employer and the community should know about it.”
