Caversham fire: Arson squad investigates house blaze on Bernborough Avenue

The arson squad are investigating a blaze which completely engulfed an eastern suburbs home.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the house fire on Bernborough Avenue, Caversham, about 7.56am on Friday.

It is understood the house was completely engulfed with flames when they arrived just after 8am.

The blaze was contained and under control by 9am.

A St John WA spokesperson said a woman in her 50’s and a man in his 30’s were taken to Midland Hospital with non-urgent injuries.
