Bubbly show to sparkle
A spectacular vintage-inspired cabaret show, Club Soda, is making its way from Melbourne to Karratha.
The troupe, pictured, consists of performers, magicians, circus acts and dancers.
The show’s main character, Mr Sandman, played by tap dancer Eden Read, leads the audience down the rabbit hole into a surreal and magical speak-easy. Raconteur Productions managing director Julia Foenander said audiences could expect the unexpected.
“They can expect a really exciting, great night out. It’s an incredibly entertaining show,” she said.
“People can expect to have a bit of a party. We want everyone to come along dressed up and drink champagne.
“With all the bushfires and the floods and the coronavirus, it’s kind of like ‘let’s all get together and not worry about all the things that we are very concerned about’.”
Ms Foenander said while the storyline involved laughter, it also had some take-home messages.
“The show is actually a lot about dreams. It’s got love and loss and learning,” she said.
The show will debut in Karratha on Friday and Saturday night at the Red Earth Arts Precinct.
