Challenging game of par at Karratha Golf Club

Saturday’s golf game is always a challenging game of par, so those who ended up with just +1 at the weekend did very well.

Two new members joined a strong field on yet another hot day at Karratha Golf Club.

This round’s overall winner was Steve Medling with a score of +5.

Warren Dunsby finished second on a countback and Brian Gill came in third.

The best gross score prize went to Vaughan Smith for his 34 strokes total.

He also won the long drive for hole 6. Novelty prize winners included Lorrie Bertrand (long drive on the 2nd), Danica Thoms (neartest the pin on the 5th), Ben Tawhiti (best second shot on the 4th), and John Magerl (best third shot on the 3rd).

Wayne Haenga collected prizes for nearest the pin on the 8th and long putt on the 9th.
