Glamour comes to the fore for Onslow Gala Ball

Onslow’s third annual Gala Ball was reason for the town to take the night off on Saturday, October 13.

The community dressed to impress for an evening of dancing, food and fun at the RM Forrest Hall.

The talented Howie Morgan Trio keptthe dance floor busy with their repertoire of blues, soul and pop music, while the Onslow Beach Resort looked after the catering and the Onslow Sports Club kept the beverages flowing.

Shire president Kerry White said it was great to see the event continuing to be a success.

“Each year the Gala becomes more popular and this year was no exception,” she said.

Chevron Australia’s Community Engagement Supervisor Erin Glancy said the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project was proud to support the event again through it’s “Working Together for Onslow” partnership with the Shire of Ashburton.

“Our partnership continues to deliver events that help bring the community together and make Onslow a great place to live and work,” she said.
