The format involves two players working as a team, with each hitting off the tee and then selecting the ball in the best position for both players to play from.

Overall, the gross score winners were Digger Holmes and Wayne Haenga on 68.

The weekend’s net score winners were Brian Randall and Kerry Chapman, who together scored 58.5 points.

The net runners-up were Lester Body and Mark Apletree on 61, who edged out Alfie Martin and Viv Kamen on 62.

In the novelty award categories, the long drive winners for the weekend were Lynda Giles in the ladies’ comp and Alfie Martin in the men’s.

Trevor Evans, Doug Holt and Danica Thoms were among those who claimed prizes for the longest putt. The competition’s nearest the pin winners included Brian Gill, Dale Robson and Haenga.
