Tracey’s new career gives her wings
A passionate bird photographer now has a new way to showcase her epic shots with the launch of a book.
Pilbara woman Tracey Heimberger officially launched her book, Above and Beyond the Burrup, last month at the Cossack Gallery’s opening.
It features bird photographs taken by Heimberger from across the region and incorporates text written by renowned archaeologist Ken Mulvaney.
Heimberger took up wildlife photography seven years ago after the death of her husband as a way to heal during the stressful period in her life.
It has been a busy year for Heimberger, who also launched a birdwatching tour business in July, turning her hobby into her career.
