Community rally to family’s aid after heavy haulage woman dies in childbirth

A GoFundMe page has been established to help former Karratha resident Glynn Sheppard and his newborn baby daughter in the aftermath of his wife’s death during childbirth.

The fundraising page, created by a family friend, explains that Glynn and Amanda Sheppard moved from Karratha to the eastern states a little more than a year ago to begin a family.

However, complications arose during Mrs Sheppard’s C-section operation and she died.

The couple’s baby daughter survived.

The page is asking for financial assistance for Mr Sheppard and his daughter in the aftermath of their loss. It has raised more than $22,000 so far.
