French national missing from Karratha
The friend of a French national missing from Karratha since last week is urging the public’s assistance in finding his mate.
22-year-old Nicolas Faur was reported missing on June 16 and has not made contact with friends or family since then.
Mr Faur’s friend Amine Ben said he was last seen at Tambrey Caltex and had booked accommodation at the Comfort Inn Suites.
He said Mr Faur had been working in Karratha for about a year in various jobs, most recently as a kitchen hand.
Police described Mr Faur as fair skinned, approximately 195cms tall with a slim build and speaks with a French accent.
Mr Ben said he also had a goatee and brown hair.
He is believed to be driving a maroon Ford Falcon sedan with registration number 1EKM 144.
Anyone who sees Mr Faur or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Police on 131 444.
