Police have arrested four juvenile males and are looking into another person of interest over 12 reported burglaries in Karratha in one week.

Karratha Police Officer-In-Charge Senior Sergeant Andrew Stevens said police believe a group of five juveniles roaming the streets during the daytime were behind the series of burglaries spread across the suburbs of Millars Well, Pegs Creek, Bulgarra and Nickol.

Three boys aged 12 to 14 were arrested last week, and police arrested another 14-year-old on Saturday.

Sen. Sgt Stevens said police believed the alleged offenders were looking to steal bikes, cash and possibly cars.

If you see suspicious activity, call Karratha police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
