Missing your bike? Roebourne police might be able to help
A stash of bikes believed to be stolen has been found at a property in Wickham and police are asking for owners to come forward and claim them.
Roebourne police executed a search warrant at a Wickham property on Thursday, June 9 and seized 23 bikes, all of which they believe were stolen.
First Class Constable Jack Moore said officers were acting on intelligence of bikes allegedly being taken to the address and being dismantled for parts.
One bike has been claimed and a Wickham man has been charged with stealing it.
Roebourne police are urging any Wickham residents with a missing bike to call the station on 9182 1133 or attend during business hours.
Some proof of ownership such as a receipt of purchase or a photograph will be required to recover it.
