Warriors are now two matches clear at the top of the table of the Karratha Districts Eightball Association after a hard fought win over the Mongrels.

Warriors won the first four games but Mongrels rallied to even the ledger at seven all.

In the final game a missed Mongrels shot on the black spelled the end as Warriors took revenge for their only loss of the season so far.

Outlaws continued their impressive form with another percentage boosting 12-3 win over Slaminas to move into third spot.

It's a position they will have to fight hard to retain when they meet Warriors next week in what will most certainly be the match of the week.

Taverners essentially took Rack'a'holics' position in the top four by defeating them 10-5 but will need to keep winning to stay there.

Pool Sharks were also too good for Animals 10-5 and while they are still one match out of the top four, they aren't far from taking one of the top spots.

In the other match Wreckers, who no doubt still have ambitions of a top four finish, demolished Taniwha's 14-1.
