There’s only one sleep until some of the biggest names in Australian hip-hop and rock’n’roll grace the stage at the inaugural Karratha Beats in the Heat music festival.

There is one last minute replacement to the line-up with New Zealand rapper Scribe pulling out and being replaced by fellow hip-hopping Kiwi Savage.

Savage is known for his hits Swing and Moonshine, with the former exposed to a worldwide audience when it was on the soundtrack of the comedy film Knocked Up.

It will be Savage’s third visit to the Pilbara and his second for the year after playing shows in Karratha and Port Hedland back in February.

The rest of the line-up remains the same with rappers Illy and Allday, 90s Brisbane rockers Regurgitator, Shockone, Safia, Paces, Tom Piper, and Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon, as well as a swag of local artists.

The festival will be held on two stages at the Karratha Leisureplex from 2pm tomorrow.

Camping will also be available and bus transfers from Port Hedland to Karratha are from $55.
