It’s not too late to register children for the Karratha Districts Junior Soccer Association 2016 season, starting on April 30.

Registrations have officially closed, however president Chris Lally said parents could still inquire about late registrations.

“We’re not struggling, but we’ve got room for more players,” he said.

Mr Lally said about 540 children were signed up for this year’s season, with Nickol Junior Soccer club by far the biggest, with more than 200 players.

“We’re trying to lead people towards Salt and Glory because Nickol is by far the biggest,” he said.

Mr Lally said he was pleased the recent downturn had not greatly affected player numbers.

“We’re only 30 or 40 (players) short of what we were last year.” he said.

Under-five to under-11 teams will play at the Leisureplex on Saturday mornings.

Under-14 to under-18 teams will play at Pegs Creek Oval on Sunday mornings.
