Two bodies found at sea, search continues

A marine search and rescue operation is under way south of Mawby Island near Dampier following the discovery of two bodies.

An overturned vessel was located in the area this morning.

Police said this afternoon that at this stage, two bodies have been found.

Water police, police divers, air-wing, volunteer marine rescue and the State Emergency Service are currently assisting with the operation.
