Paraburdoo's town hall was transformed into a Winter Wonderland last Saturday night, when the community came together to raise funds for the Paraburdoo Primary School P&C Association and Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The glamorous event attracted about 200 patrons, who danced the night away in the Winter Wonderland-themed venue to Perth singer Kayla Jaye, DJ Daniel Harrison and local entertainer Johnny Stowers.

Paraburdoo Red Dirt Rocks Committee president Brett Sharpe said the ball committee was focused on providing dual benefits for the local community and their chosen beneficiaries.

"The ball has become an integral part of the town's events calendar, with Paraburdoo residents benefiting through community enhancements bought about by our fundraising partnerships," he said.

"Over the years, the event has also provided locals with a great opportunity to come together and have a fun night out."

Mr Sharpe said he was pleased with patron participation and was overwhelmed with the level of business support through the event's sponsorship program.

"This year's event was an outstanding success due to our sponsors," he said.

"Although at this stage we don't have a final amount on what we will be able to donate to the RFDS and school P&C, we are confident there will be significant funds to assist both groups purchase much-needed equipment."

The Paraburdoo Red Dirt Rocks Committee expects to announce the total amount raised for the beneficiaries early next month.
