Colts and Dalyellup will both have the chance to bring four Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association premierships home over the course of the weekend.

As well as the Colts’ first-grade outfit, the club’s second, third and fifth-grade sides have all sealed their spots in the season decider.

Dalyellup will be competing in the final game of the second, fourth and fifth-grade seasons alongside their top side.

Like their top team, Colts’ second and third-grade outfits will be looking to defend premierships won last year, while Dalyellup’s fourth-grade side will be looking to defend theirs.

As well as clashing in the first-grade game, the competition’s two current power clubs will come up against each other in the second and fifth-grade season deciders.

Much like their first-grade side, Colts set the pace for much of the year in second-grade, winning 17 of their 21 games to finish as minor premiers.

But Dalyellup won the qualifying final between the pair by four wickets, plunging Colts into a preliminary final, which they progressed through with a four-wicket victory over Donnybrook.

In fifth-grade, Dalyellup Black cruised through to the grand final by beating Rising Stars by eight wickets in the qualifying final, while Colts finished the home and away season in third but beat Dalyellup Orange by 60 runs and Rising Stars by 14 runs to get into the season decider.

Minor premiers Capel will be looking to put the finishing touch on a dominant third-grade season in the grand final against Colts at Capel Oval.

Capel lost only one of their 18 games for the home and away season and secured hosting rights for the last game of the season by beating Eaton by 67 runs in the qualifying final.

Reigning premiers Colts finished the home and away season in fourth but beat Rising Stars by 38 runs and Eaton by eight wickets to earn the chance to feature in another grand final.

The only grand final not featuring a Colts side will be in the fourth-grade, where Rising Stars will take on Dalyellup.

Rising Stars finished below Dalyellup on the ladder in second but will come into the season decider full of confidence after bundling them out for only 24 in the qualifying final.

Dalyellup, who won 14 of their 18 games in the home and away season, bounced back with a three-wicket win over Harvey Benger in the preliminary final.

The lower grades grand finals will be played as one-day matches, rather than the two-day format of the first-grade game.
