Traffic chaos on Kwinana Freeway northbound on Berrigan Drive ramp in South Lake after minor car crash

Traffic on a major Perth highway has come to a standstill after a minor car crash.

Towies are on scene at the Berrigan Drive entry ramp on Kwinana Freeway northbound in South Lake after an accident about 6am.

The entry ramp onto the freeway is blocked and cars are bumper to bumper.

Main Roads WA has warned that there is heavy congestion and for drivers to exercise caution.
