A man has died in a shocking tractor tragedy on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road.
The man was struck and killed by a tractor on the heritage-listed road at Nirranda South on Thursday about 12.15pm, the police said on Friday morning.
“It is believed the man was struck by a tractor near a property on the Great Ocean Road,” the police said.
“The driver of the tractor, a 42-year-old Nirranda South man, stopped and rendered assistance.

“The 63-year-old Camperdown man died at the scene.”
The police will prepare a report on the death for the coroner.
The man’s passing marks the 37th life lost on Victoria’s roads so far this year compared to 28 fatalities recorded to February 6 in 2024.
