Guy Fawkes Night in Dampier will be even brighter this year with the Leukaemia Foundation's Light the Night set to add more colour to the night sky.
The Leukaemia Foundation confirmed Dampier would host the fundraiser on the same evening as Guy Fawkes Night this year.
Light the Night involves participants donating money to the Leukaemia Foundation in exchange for a lantern that donators let fly during an evening group walk along the beach.
Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club commodore John Lally said they were still working out how to fit Light the Night in with the fireworks display.
Guy Fawkes Night will be held at Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club on November 8 this year.
Anyone wanting to take part in the fundraiser on the evening can register through the Light the Night website.
A Karratha City spokesman said details on how to be involved would be released in the coming weeks.
