The third round of the Karratha District Junior Soccer competition was played on Saturday in very blustery conditions.

The 6s, 7s and 8s struggled to keep themselves and the ball on the ground, but with the strong winds and unusually cold conditions, these little superstars did a fantastic job and had a lot of fun.

In the 13s age group, in the first of the derby matches, Nickol 4 were too strong for Nickol 2.

Salt recorded their first win of the season by defeating Dampier.

In the second derby match, Nickol 3 ran out comfortable winners over Nickol 1.

In the final match of the round, Wickham, came from behind with a strong second half to draw with Glory.

In the 18s age group, Glory held off a determined Dampier for the win in the early game.

In the late game, Nickol 2 took the early lead and in what was the best game of the season to date, held off Salt for the win.
