Woman killed as three fall from Ferris wheel in Fiji

A 21-year-old woman has died and two people have been seriously injured after falling from a Ferris wheel in Fiji.

The accident occurred on Friday at the just-opened Fiji Showcase entertainment fair in Suva, the capital of the South Pacific island nation, police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro told local FBC News.

All rides at the fair were shut down after the incident.

An independent investigation has been launched into how the three women fell from the revolving attraction.
