Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Live coverage of day two of Second Test between Australia and India in Adelaide
Mitchell Starc dominated with the ball on day one of the second Test at Adelaide Oval, as Australia bowled India out for 180.
Under lights, the Aussies managed to navigate the tricky pink ball through the night session, reaching stumps with nine wickets in hand and trailing by 94 runs.
Usman Khawaja (13) was the only wicket to fall, with fellow opener Nathan McSweeney (38 not out) looking the part at the top of the order.
Marnus Labuschagne (20 not out) will return to the crease with him as he continues his fight to retain his spot in the Test team.
Keep up to date with all the action in our live blog below, with play due to resume at midday WA time.
MARSH WALKS
Mitch Marsh has walked off in bizarre circumstances as the umpire gave him out caught behind - with the replay showing he did not hit the ball.
Early in the evening session of the second day of the second Test between Australia and India, Marsh departed Adelaide Oval after seemingly nicking a clever delivery from spin ace Ravi Ashwin.
The umpire was not convinced but the burly all-rounder gave himself away as he began to walk from the wicket and the finger was raised.
The replay showed clear space between bat and bat - and Snicko showed a flat line - but it was too late for Marsh, who did not review.
AUSSIES WELL ON TOP
It’s been a massive session for Australia at Adelaide Oval.
We apologise for the lack of updates - we’ve had some technical difficulties.
But we’re back and will get you up to speed with everything that has unfolded since the dinner break.
NOT OUT
Mitch Marsh survives after there was insufficent evidence to overturn the umpire’s call of not out.
Ravi Ashwin pleaded for LBW, with the pink ball appearing to hit both bat and ball simultaneously.
The decision was reviewed by India captian Rohit Sharma, to no avail.
Australia lead by six runs.
AND HE’S GONE!
Marnus Labuschange’s knock comes to an end at 64. Is it enough to ease the pressure?
The No.3 did all the hard work to get to the half century but was unravelled by a back of a length delivery from Nitish Kumar Reddy.
An excellent catch taken by Yashasvi Jaiswal at gully and he’s got to walk.
Mitch Marsh comes to the crease, Australia 4/168 - trailing by 12.
JUST IN!
Australia’s first Test tour of the West Indies in a decade will be a three-match affair as authorities stamp out two-Test series.
The Australians will tour in June-July next year with at least two Tests mandated under the World Test Championship.

RAISE THE BAT!
Marnus Labuschagne reaches the half-century mark and raises the bat (albeit upside-down) at Adelaide Oval.
It’s taken 114 balls, including a tricky night session last night, but the under pressure No.3 has gritted his teeth to reach 50.
Australia trail by 37 runs.
‘Great signs’ for Marnus: JL
Australian Test great and former coach Justin Langer has been impressed with Marnus Labuschagne so far on day two.
The embattled No.3 is just four runs shy of a half-century after coming into the Adelaide Test under immense pressure.
“Marnus Labuschagne is showing great signs here, there’s been a lot of talk about this guy,” he said.
“Australia need him in this team, they need him playing well, because he is a gun.”
Langer said a powerful cover drive, the shot of the day so far, early in the innings was an early indication of Labuschagne’s intent.
“That is Marnus Labuschagne at his best,” he said.
“And I saw it earlier, he played a cover drive and I messaged him this morning, when I see that cover drive that step out at the ball you know he’s at his best.”
WE’RE NOT LYON!
Australian superstar Nathan Lyon has emerged as the man at the centre of Friday’s Adelaide Oval blackout.
BUMRAH AGAIN!
Jasprit Bumrah has another victim and it’s Steve Smith who departs for just two runs.
Pressure is set to rise on the Australian No.4, after a duck and a score of just 17 in Perth.
He bows his head disappointed after feathering a legside Bumrah length delivery with the face of the bat to Rishabh Pant behind the stumps.
After starting the day 1/86, Australia are 3/103.
