Fremantle are the raging favourites heading into the Saturday night clash with Richmond at Optus Stadium.

The Tigers are currently 18th on the ladder after being leapfrogged by North Melbourne, having lost their past two games.

The Dockers return to Perth full of confidence after a statement win over ladder-leaders Sydney at the SCG and will be looking to re-enter the top four with a victory.

Fremantle enter the contest with a 9-5-1 record, sitting precariously on 38 premiership points with a percentage of 111.3.

Goodnight

That’s where we’ll leave it for now. A comfortable win for Fremantle and they move back into third. Big challenge in Tasmania awaits against the Hawks but they will back themselves. Keep an eye out for updates online at thewest. and tomorrow’s The Sunday Times.

FULL TIME Fremantle 16.9 (105) Richmond 7.12 (52)

Tim Taranto kicks a goal as the siren sounds but a dominant half from the Dockers sees them winners by 53 points. That’s three wins on the bounce and they move into third just two points off Carlton after they lost a stunner to GWS. Andrew Brayshaw surely gets the three votes form this one with 35 disposals and a goal.

Dockers pass 100

Brayshaw wins a free-for-a-push on the wing, he goes to a contest and Hayden Young finds the space to snap his second goal and get the Dockers passed the 100 point mark.

Fremantle approach the hundred

The game has gone down a notch with a few sore bodies out their but the Dockers still work hard to get up the ground off a free kick in the back half and get it forward as Sam Sturt and Jaeger O’Meara play hot potato before O’Meara eventually gets his first.

Crowd

42,690 fans turn out tonight. A little low but perhaps given the weather understandable

Amiss struggles conitnue

Amiss has a shot from 15m and smacks it into the post. He kicked the goal in the third quarter but he now has 1.3 and one out on the full in another indifferent night.

Mansell finally gets one back for Richmond

Mansell breaks the run of five straight goals for Freo with a nice mark and finish from 40m
