It’s a match made in heaven.

Australia’s fastest-growing community sport streaming platform, Streamer, has teamed up one of the companies that makes Australian sport tick — HART Sport.

For more than 30 years, HART have been supplying leagues, clubs and schools at all levels of the game with the equipment that makes sport possible — with more than 700 of their 3500 products proudly Australian-made out of their Brisbane headquarters.

Now they are extending their commitment to the streaming space in a partnership that will further celebrate the moments, people and the contests that make local sport great.

Streamer, developed by Seven West Media, is the home of community sport in Australia. The platform provides sports with the tools to run their own streaming programs, fund-raise and create highlights for social media while retaining full control of their own content.

After beginning in Western Australia in 2022, Streamer has since expanded nationally with competitions like the AAGPS NSW rugby and football, AFL Sydney, AFL Cairns, Essendon District Football League, The Rumble Pro Skateboarding Tour, Little Athletics NSW and Capital Athletics coming on board.

It has captured and celebrated moments from podium finishes in the under-12s, to Paris 2024 representative Torrie Lewis breaking the Australian women’s 100m record in Canberra earlier this year. More often than not, it was HART Sport equipment on the ground helping make those moments happen.

Seven West Media WA chief sales officer Brent Stewart said partnering with HART was a landmark moment in Streamer’s history.

“The synergy between HART Sports and Streamer is undeniable,” Mr Stewart said. “We are all about helping local sporting clubs thrive and have a really tangible impact on their communities, and this partnership will only strengthen our ability to do that. We have so many great things planned and we can’t wait to get to work.”

HART Sport national sales manager Andrew Mills said the shared values and goals of the two organisations made working together even more exciting.

“This partnership represents the perfect union of Australia’s best sporting platform and product, promising to bring enhanced opportunities, engagement and benefits to our national sporting community,” he said.

Streamer has been built to accommodate streams from clubs and leagues at any level, no matter their resources.

From more elite competitions like the WAFL Women’s and under-18 programs, to local curling competitions and wheelchair hockey, Streamer aims to give a platform to any sport seeking one.

Since launching there have been more than 430 clubs jump on the platform, with more than 3300 games streamed.

More than $65,000 has also been raised directly for community sporting clubs and organisations.

Streamer operations manager Nick Rynne said lending a hand to the leagues, schools and clubs which form the foundations of Australian sport was at the core of Streamer’s mission.

“That is what we’re all about, and we’re thrilled to work with partners like HART Sport who share those ambitions,” he said.

“There’s not a person out there involved in sport who hasn’t come across a piece of HART equipment at some point in their journey, and we want to work together to make Streamer just as synonymous with that grassroots Australian sporting experience.”
