Pilbara families gathered to enjoy a day out at the races at the Nor-West Jockey Club on Saturday, June 18.

The Roebourne racecourse was packed for its second meet of the season, the Karratha Signs Family Day.

There were seven races for punters to enjoy and a host of community groups helping to provide the off-field entertainment.

NWJC Kevin Kininmonth said the day had been a big success for the club.

The next two race meets at the NWJC are coming up fast, with Ladies Day on July 9 and the Roebourne Cup Day on July 23.
